In a special edition of the newscast, we celebrate Veterans Day with thoughts from two veterans working in public health: Keith Reed, Oklahoma Commissioner of Health, is a registered nurse and a colonel in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and Dr. Edward Simmer, South Carolina’s Director of the Department of Health and Environmental Control, is a Navy veteran with more than 30 years in the military. Also, we get another thankful note in celebration of the upcoming Public Health Thank You Day on Monday, November 21st.
